ok i drove a turbo s the other day at a dealership and the system in it sounded a lot better than mine. so i have a few questions. do the monsoon systems come with a factory sub? if so where is it and could i add an aftermarket one in the same place? anyone have an upgraded system that they could sell me the casing where the sub goes from there stock one? and the speakers on the dash...what are those? are they the same as the pillar ones just in the dash? any help?

The monsoon systems have an amp with integrated crossovers for the speakers. There is no 'sub' in the traditional sense. I have my Alpine head unit running through the factory monsoon amp and speakers and am always surprised by its performance. In my '04 NBC I have high/mid plates in the dash location, mid-range in the front door location, and lows in the back panels (per side) for a total of 8 speakers.
