How long are your interconnect and power wires?

I'm not with my NB at the moment so I can't go out and measure. I am wanting to order some power wire from the battery to the trunk and interconnects from the dash to the trunk. What length have you used in your car? Is 12' enough? Does it need the 16' length?

Depends on where your hook-ups are and where you are routing the cables.

Interconnects: If you are going under the door sills I would go with the 16' but if you go under the carpet and lower console between the seats you should be able to use the 12'.

Power:
I would go with 16' for + power and about 6' for the ground. Easier to shorten the cable than make it longer. Use shorts pieces to ground the amps, of course. But also add 1-2 ground cables (to equal the same size/number from the amps) to the battery to the chassis. This is to stop a bottleneck for the power from the battery.
Example: if you have 2-4ga ground cables from 2 amps then add 2-4ga cables from (-) on the battery to the chassis.

I installed my 3 years ago and don't remember the lengths off hand.
