front speakers
hey. this is probably a retarded question, but my front speaker seems to have blown out.
what is the size for that speaker, and let me guess... the door panel has to be removed to get to it, huh? can anybody recommend some semi-decent brand speakers to replace em with? the car has got nearly 130,000 miles, so i'm really not looking to put any real money into it. thanks.

a little help
about 2 months ago i blew the front left on my '01 1.8t
I bought 6.5 inch sonys they work allright you do have to pull the door off and drill out 4 rivits, besides that there are 4 holes in the new speaker that line right up they sound good  just hope that you dont blow the rear pair to replace those you have to pull the rear seat and front door weather stripping hope i helped any other questions e-mail me at gearhead914@aol.com
