Well I don't think this Receiver has a girlie look, but it does have a nice I-Pod adapter included, a Cd player and a very convenient front USB input for your flash drive (Sony CDX-GT610UI)

Hope that helps.

I have that one (above). It works very well and is pretty cheap. It was $100 at Best Buy with the adapter for an iPod and everything. With installation it was more, of course. I wouldn't say it's 'girly' (I'm a girl, by the way), but I've never seen a head unit that was, to be honest.

Good luck finding one.

clarion just introduced a really ugly radio (imho) that can be very girly since its white and you can change the colors of the screen and buttons. but its a double size radio and won't fit in the beetle dashboard.

The headunit Toadman linked would work in a Beetle IF and only IF you had the kind of ugly dash attachment they sell at BugsGoGo that makes your dash hold a monitor. That or you fabricated one by hand.

Dont they have head units that can have jpg files for a background? I know i've seen HUs with photos. Anything customizable can be made girly. Just sayin.

Put a pink boa around your radio. And on your headrests for added effect.

That's what I'm here for! Hey, it was late and I was sleepy.

For real though, I honestly can't think of any aftermarket headunit that's sterotypically "girlie." They're all pretty much the same. You know...black...with buttons... Maybe what you could do is paint or decorate the plate that goes around the headunit?
