iPod Mount

Hey, I did a search, but I may not be using the correct terms.......I'm wondering if anyone has seen or has an iPod Mount that would go in the Bud Vase Hole, either with the vase in place.....Mine is the Turbo S, so it has the cool aluminium ring around it......or just to put in the hole?

i like the bud pod, but wonder if you have problems changing songs or using the i-controls from behind the steering wheel.

i settled for putting the ipod in the glove box, but think it would be an awesome idea if they came out with a flip down head unit that had the ipod dock right on it! has anyone ever seen this?

That would be an awesome Idea......
....i have a remote control, that can change the volume and forward & fast forward the song......I would have to use the wheel for playlist and a few other things......but I got 2 & 3 hour playlists

The iPod actually sits just perfectly in relation to the steering wheel giving excellent view and control of the whole unit. The angle the picture is shot from makes it kind of difficult to tell. Remember the steering wheel can also be raised/lowered to adjust for your personal preference. Since I've made it the 1/4 plug seen in the picture is no longer needed as I can connect via a belkin dock (from underneath). I really like it. If I had a navigation unit that is probably where I would locate it.

I have that on mine...Its a jensen Unit that allows you to control most Ipod functions from the screen, reads a bunch of diff. types of cds, dvs, and is also ready for satelite radio..the ipod stays in the glove box, no need to charge, and easy to use! I can't remember the name of the model I have but if you need it, I can do some research.
