Stock Antenna Amplification
I'm replacing the headliner in an '01 TDI, and the rubber grommet is broken at the base of the antenna on the roof, so I plan to replace the antenna grommet, base, and mast while I've got access. Is the factory antenna powered/amplified in this model?
I just wondered whether to look for an amplified or non-amplified replacement. Also, other than eBay, any other reputable inexpensive sources out there? Thanks.
