Talking Monsoon 6 CD Changer Getting nutty

I have a 2002 GSL TDI with a six disc changer in the trunk. It has all-of-sudden decided that there is no CD in the first position. It skips to number two and will go fine from there.
Anyone have any ideas on why this is happening?
(Oh yes, I have check to see if there is one in there)

Default Monsoon 6 CD Changer.....

Never mind;
It was just a loose connection. Jiggled the connector and applied a few well chosen swear words and it was repaired.

Default Monsoon 6 CD Changer....

It was where the connection is made at the changer. On the forward side against the trunk wall. I was really intending to pull the unit out but couldn't see how it could be done so I did the next best thing and swore at it and jiggled it. Perhaps a bit of contact cleaner would have been good too but that stuff is cold and this is Montana!!

Mine went back to it's old ways too. Until the weather gets a bit nicer, I'm going to go with the 5 Disc changer it has become. Sorry about the bum scoop.
