where is the best place to install a sub woofer in a nbc.

i mean you really only have one choice.

where else can you put it but in the trunk.

If you mean sound quality competitions - the best place is the center of dash, but if you don't need such quality and like to have sound pressure a little bit - trunk is your choice.

what im thinking about doing with my wifes is makeing a fiberglass box the replaces the rear seat armrest. And putiing the sub even with the edge of the seat where your but goes. And flush it into the back where the hole is. That way you can use the box as an armrest, so i will give it an ergonomic type shape. There should be more that enough volume there for at least 1 12. And give you plenty of bass with the top down, because of the close proxcimtity (sp) to the people in the from. It also shouldnt take up and used space, esp if I can give it enough of an ergo design. It might actually make it a little more comfy. like a well fitted suit
