Hello everyone, New to the forum here!
I offered my sister to install a navigation system in her car (2004 beetle conv.) I looked over all the instructions (crutchfield is awesome) and I get pretty much everything. The only thing I am a little stuck on is where to find a proper ground, battery and ignition wire for the hideaway navi unit. Can I splice into the ones on the headunit harness? Or will that send too much current though them? Are there any other easily accessible locations for these? My hunch was to start looking under the driver's side dash. Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks! ![]() |
