need a new radio - question

im thinking Pioneer, however with the ODD shape of the radio in there now, where can i get face plate adapter ?

You just need an adapter kit. Get the Scosche or American one, the Metra kit has funny bubbles on the front.

You will also need a wiring harness and antenna adapters. If you order from Crutchfield, they include all of this stuff. Otherwise you can find them on ebay or Amazon. I think The big box stores might sell them too like Circuit City and Best Buy, but most likely the fugly metra kit.
