Default cd player skips on rough roads

Hi,

My 2002 GLS Turbo has the Monsoon 6 cd changer,( in the trunk) When I am playing cds, and riding on a rough road, the cds skip. This does not seem normal. Is there something I could put under or something for shock absorption?

On a really big pothole this does happen to mine. I'd say maybe 2 times a day tops.
I also noticed it happens more frequently to self-burnt CDs.
Try a cleaning CD in it first, if the skipping happens more often than that.
