Exclamation No Sound Out of Both Door Speakers

I've had my Polk speakers installed for a while now and I'm not sure if they've ever really worked. It's weird, perhaps a short?

Sometimes you can hear a little out of the them but most of the time they're quiet. The back speakers work great; clear, crisp sound. But the door ones sound muffled and you have to mess with the fader/equalizer to hear anything out of them.

Do you think they're just blown or perhaps there's a short/incorrectly installed? Any feedback on this would be most appreciated.

Oh and FYI, I purchased this car used about 2 years ago and had to replace the speakers because the door ones were blown and so were all the dash/tweeter ones as well. Those, I have yet to replace because it seems like it's gonna take a while and cost too much. Could this be effecting my other speakers?

Talking Hey Try this

Ok it is probably really bad wiring. Take off the door panels.

1st. take the three torch screws out of the bottom of the panel.

2nd. The handle handle that does not open the door had a cover that pulls off and has two Phillips head screws one on top the other on the bottom.

3rd. Role down the window.

4th. Take your hands and pull and u will here popping. (Snaps on the back of panel releasing).

5th. Unplug all plugs in the back of the switches and the hook to the door handle.

Now look at the wiring if exposed if not take the speaker off carefully and then check the back. Make sure it has good contacts.
