Unhappy 2001 stock radio manual... help!!!

can someone help me how to operate the 2001 stock radio on beetle...i dont know what is TP, gala and some codes in this radio... sometimes it just says seek tp and so on... dont know also how to adjust time... can you please help me how to operate all the function of stock radio...

Looks like you're in need of the radio code which can be found in your owner's manual.

Doesnt sound like a stock radio to me.

Does YOUR's have a clock?

Mine didnt.

Somebody from Europe needs to help answer this question. By your location, it appears you are in Qatar and would therefore have a different radio from the American radio. Your controls would be slightly different from ours. TP sounds like you have a tape player in the radio (normal for the time period). If you have something that says TP seek in the display of the radio, then there may be an issue with the radio (assuming you do not have a tape in the player). If you are referring to a button, then the button is for moving to each song on the tape.

Can you post a picture of the radio? We might be able to help you figure out the buttons.

My radio is the same as all in new beetle (monsoon) but i just dont know what is the function of those switch coz i dont have manual, when i press the scan button a gala word appear and more... i dont know each function... im just a newbie and just bought my new beetle and i love it so much even if its a second hand... i just want to know how to operate the radio and all its function... please help me thanks to all... and by the way i named my silver beetle as CHUCHAY...thanks again...more power to all God Bless
