Angry rear speaker removal?

Ok I searched this and I attempted it but good grief I got the panel to unclip near the trunk, the one near the door no go and I don't want to pull to hard. I don't need to be breaking it. Any words of advice?

there is nothing to really grab on to?

I folded the back seat up flipped the other half down and kind of wiggled it around to get where I'm at. I was hoping to have the speakers replaced for my wife tonight, but perhaps tomorrow.

remove the B-pillar trim first. Then work your way back. I forget if you have to start at the floor or what, but it's kind of a long round-about way. The way things are layered though, it's "on top".

Might help to remove the seat bottom, there's no bolts, just squeeze the long wire-frame to unhook one side, then jimmy the other side out.

That'd be the one just behind the front seats.

How? I don't remember that too well, so I'm going to guess, I did it once over 3 years ago.

pull out some of the trim around the door edge.
Look for screw covers, I don't expect you'll find any.
I don't think you'll have to remove the seatbelt for the front.
I believe you can just pry the panel off, typical interior body clips.

The panels are just layered like an armadillo, have to start at the top and work your way over to the part you really want to access.

i got mine off yesterday by pulling at the rear bottom portion of the panel and it came off pretty easy. i didn't have to remove the b pillar.

one side was a little tougher than the other, but not too bad, just make sure to start on the rear bottom.

you will need to replace a couple, two, three of the spiral clips, there's no way around that. they get messed up at the factory during installation and end up not being reusable.
