Hi guys,
I just received a new OEM radio, I ordered it few days ago from "VW Parts" - "Volkswagen Parts" - Parts and Accessories Catalog., together with the radio comes a paper in which they say that some reprogramming is required, and there is the list of codes for the different models (Passat, Beetle, Jetta, Golf, etc.). Now, they say you need the VAG tester in order to perform this reprogramming, so I'm wondering: is this necessary? Second, I need the code for this new radio, which I can not find anywhere on the radio, any ideas? Thanks all edit: does my new beetle '98 has this monsoon system? I guess not, but just to make sure ![]() Maurizio |
