Default Monsoon CD chaner to MP3

Anyone try one of those plug in devices that replaces your CD changer with an MP3 player? The one I'm looking at getting accepts a 32Gb usb stick. You can control everything from the factory radio CD controls. Sounds like a great idea. Wondering if it actually is a great idea.

Didn't know if we we allowed. I thought it might be considered advertising a product. Here is a link. I am not familiar with this. I am thinking of getting it.

I have never seen that one. The one I was familiar with is an ipod adaptor that replaces the rear moounted cd changer.
** i-VW-R VW Volkswagen iPod Auxiliary Interface by DICE ELECTRONICS (VW AUDI AUX AND IPOD ADAPTER)*::*IPOD DIRECT COMPATIBLE AUX ADAPTERS*::*AUX AND IPOD ADAPTERS*::*OEM Factory Aux Ipod Adapters & Changers*::*AUTOTOYS

I too would be interested in hearing anyone's experience with either of these or any others.

Good topic

I'm interesed too. So according to the second one, you have to pull the unit out to hook it up? Does it plug into the back of the head unit? Would it be possible to plug it in, in the back the same place the changer plugs in? I know in order to do that, you would have to extend the cable somehow.

Unhappy I would like to get an adaptor for my bug

I have an IPod Classic 160G 6th Gen and want the best for my NBTurboConvertible. I plan to mount my IPod in my flower vase. I have already read all the threads and still have not come across one that looks to be the best. should I ask the dealership for theirs or is there a better one? Please help. I plan to install it myself.

I'm not sure, but the CD changer might also be usable by pressing the CD button 2 times on the head unit. If so, this is really a great product. Surprised not many have heard of it. I also think it goes in the back with the changer. I recall reading something about the memory stick being out of reach in the hatch.

Default I got the Dice Adaptor

I works great. Finding a spot for it was a chor. I ended up taking it out of the case it came in and placing it below the radio. But once I got it installed, it worked great....

It does just plug in the back of the radio. I do not have a changer, but from what I read on Dice is that the changer is disabled.....
