Driver's door speaker has a mind of it's own...

So all my speakers are fine when I listen to the radio, however if I listen to my Blackberry through the tape adapter I only get sound from the passenger side speakers. This has just happened in the last couple of days. Never had any problems before. Any ideas as to what's causing this? It would be greatly appreciated.

the tape adapter presses against the radio tape head in the player. it may just be dirty and needs cleaned with a little alcohol and a cotton swab. the tape head on has the 2 channels (left & right)so you would lose a whole side if its not making contact.

It's also possible the tape adapter has a broken wire. can you wiggle the cable slightly and make the channel come back on?
