my wifes 01 NB has the stock cassette and i can get a beetle cd changer. the stock cassette has the button for the cd ( i assume cd changer ) Is it already pre-wired for this or do i have to get the wiring and everything also ???

In the trunk on left side towards front of car at base of rear seat there is a small black plastic cover-wiring under there. You will need the NB bracket and a changer. I suggest eBay for a used changer, brackets at dealer. Plug 'n Play basically. You will need to cut the carpet, but flip it over and it's already marked basically...
