Default CD Changer Question

I have 2002 NB GLS model can anybody tell me what part number cd changer will work in my car.

Does VW have a users manual on the cd changer or is it in the owners manuals? Questions, How do you operate the cd changer? How do you load the magazine? How do you get it to play? Do you need to hookup a VAG-COM to activate the CD Changer or is it just plug and play?

EDIT: The NB has the factory Monsoon radio with the cassette.

Thanks in advance

My daughter has an iPod Touch, can the iPod be installed in the trunk like the cd changer and control the operations of the iPod on the Monson head unit with one of those iPod interfaces?

That's a good price, too. When I was looking for one, the cheapest I found was about $75 more expensive. But you will need the installation kit if you don't already have this type of CD changer in your car.

I just replaced the missing one in my '02 Turbo S. The brackets (installation kit) cost about $25. Easy to install in the trunk, my 14yo son handled that part. I paid around $90 for a brand new changer, and the 6 disc magazine was included. After installing in the trunk, using the plug-in back there, just push cd on the radio & everyone will be happy! The cd changer was in my car, when it was new, I noticed on the title work, so I didn't need to have it programmed.

AFAIK you just need to plug the changer in and it will work, no setup required, certainly on the non-monsoon head unit.
