NOT a high tech question

I use a cassette adapter for my IPOD Touch. The speakers are fine when I use the radio. All of a sudden if I try to use the adapter the left front speaker buzzes. I have not cleaned the cassette player in years and cannot find my old cassette cleaner. I just checked several different stores and cannot find a cleaner. I know that it may be the actual adapter, but I have a feeling I just need to clean it (before I spend money on another adapter) I have 2 expensive FM transmitters that sound like doo doo. The adapter is the way to go. Any idea where I can get a cleaner for it?

I did a quick google search and well, they're pretty hard to fin,d but i did find one... a used one.
