Default Speaker help

One of my front speakers is not doing well, and being completely ignorant to audio stuff, I need help. I have an after market head unit (Pioneer DEH-P4000UB), the power specs I found are: 14 watts RMS CEA-2006 / 50 peak x 4 channels.

Basically, I want to get speakers that will be as plug-and-play as possible to replace the stock speakers. Any help is very much appreciated.

I don't know much about car audio! But I will put my input in. I put in some infinity speakers that I got at Best Buy. $100 for the pair. I have a JVC head unit but I like it.

When you installed the speakers, were the wires simple to install?

I replaced my front speakers a few months ago, with my fiance's help. We had gotten a set of MB Quartz speakers which were smaller than the NB speakers (but they were free!) so we had to a bit of retrofitting and modding to get them to fit snuggly. But the wiring seemed to be straight forward.

I would say any speakers are probably fine. I don't think there is anything fancy about the NB speakers.

Just one thing though, they are in there with pop rivets so you will need to get them out. We just used the holes from those to just use screws to keep the new speakers in. Also used some dynamat to help with vibrations.
