Default Tape stuck...

so i was using my tape to MP3 thing and well...now the unit says there is no tape (when i can obviously see the tape inside) and it won't eject the tape stuck inside...any tips?

Try pulling the fuses and then reinstalling them, then see if the adapter will eject. sometimes the microprocessor gets confused and needs reset. also try pushing on the cassette adapter (lightly) and make sure it's seated in the deck.

Its also possible the tape belt broke and won't allow the tape deck eject mechanism to function.

should i pull the battery then pull the fuses? i tried just pulling the fuses w/ the battery in, nothing got reset...

No, the fuses should have done it Do you have the tools to remove the radio from the dash?

nope, i pulled 37 and 42, put them back in, started the car, nothing changed, didnt even forget my radio presets

Pulling out the radio and removing the top cover to access the tape deck is the next step.
