Default Headunit question w/6 CD factory already installed?

I feel like I should try here first instead of my local Best Buy.

- I have a 2003, I have recently put in Sony Xplod speakers in the front, I still have tweeters, just haven't got around to putting them in yet.

PROBLEM.
maybe.

I have a 6 cd changer factory installed bought for the previous owner.
But I want a new headunit because my buttons stick, and I have a light out right under where the AC/HEAT controls are.

So.

If I buy a new headunit with a cd changer, would it interact with my current 6 changer which I don't want to replace?

Thank you if you can help me out!!

Yes, both the factory head units (tape and CD) will drive the CD changer fine.

Make sure you have the codes for both before swapping them out...

That is a separate bulb that you can change out yourself. Just read through this to see how to change it. Simple enough
