Default Head Unit that matches the blue dash lights

Sorry if this has been asked already I did a search and maybe I didn't put in the correct key words. I was wondering if there was an after market Head Unit that has the same blue color that would match the dash lights? I would prefer one that I can plug my droid into...

Anything out there?

A.

I have a Sony unit that has both the blue and red lighting that matches the interior lighting pretty well.

We looked at Pioneer and Alpine stereos over the weekend and both had blue and red options available, depending on what you are looking for. I myself haven't decided...

i would browse crutchfield. i went with an alpine with mostly red lighting, because the console is red lighting. to me it makes more sense than blue.

I had an alpine CDA-102 in my Jetta, and I'm thinking about sticking It in my NB now that the Jetta is gone. It's mostly red, with a black and white screen and two buttons are blue off to the drivers side. The red color matches VW's red interior lights PERfectly, but the blue lights are a shade or two lighter. It's not even noticeable, and I got comments all the time. As far as plugging your Droid into it, it has an AUX input on the front as well as a usb port, and for anyone with an Ipod, it has a connector for those on the back. I'm a Zune person though, so I just used the Aux input for music and the USB for charging.
I just love Alpine products, and the CDA-102 is one of their cheapest head units, but the cheapest of Alpine stuff is still better than other brands (especially Monsoon)

I believe this is the thread you're looking for.
Anybody have pictures of aftermarket radio installed?
But seriously, Kenwood? that's like using car wax from the dollar store on your lamborghini. But, I guess it's all personal opinion

haha, well you could go buy an alpine, whose product quality and build have suffered ever since best buy picked them up, a friend works there, and he says they return an ungodly amount of them, clarion hasnt been the same in years, eclipse has really gone down hill the past two years, and pioneer, while they make a great product that i love, makes nothing that matches in a single din. so you could consider sony (if your buying an lcd tv) or get a kenwood. (please avoid dual, phase linear, and jensen)

sure you can get an alpine thatll do everything that the kenwood i suggested will do (esp time correction...which makes a huge improvement in the nb) but youll probably pay 600 bucks or more when you buy all the add on components.

I have two Sony headunits, one on my Beetle the other on a Sentra
I can exchange faceplates with each other and they work just fine,
I prefer the red one on my Beetle, I think it blends better with the rest
of the lighting inside the car, the blue one looks acceptable, but
seems to just break the red pattern of the surroundings.

Enough talk, here's how they both look at night on my bug:

Red Faceplate from Sony CDXGT510

Blue Faceplate from Sony CDXGT610
