Default please help me with my radio....

I got my 2003 new beetle 2.0 GL last week from a dealer with no manual. and the radio was locked.
I try to find the code anywhere in my beetle(including spare wheel),but I can't find it.
Does anyone could help me getting my code if I have the VIN# and radio series#?
thanks.

Try this, but I don't know if it will work

unplug the battery and then re-plugging it (radio will say "safe") and then turn the key to the on position. After a few minutes turn the car on and the radio cleared off and started working normally as if it recognized the car keys and that im the owner.

Or,

Call a VW dealer and tell them you lost the radio code card. they should give it to you for free if you have the vin and radio #.

Give the dealer your VIN and they can obtain it for you. If they try and charge you for it have them obtain a copy of the owner's manual where it explicitly says "you will not be charged".
