Default Can a Sirius satellite adapter for an after market radio fit under the front dash?

Hi,

I just installed a satellite ready stereo in my 06 Beetle. Does any one know if the satellite adapter will fit under the front middle dash or the dash where the Cabin filter is?

I would be installing a Sirius KCA-SC100 and a Sirius SCC1 under the dash.

Has anyone done this before? Can I get the wires from under the dash to the back of my stereo?

Thanks,
Steve

there should be enough clearance but why not put it on the drivers side of the car? you don't need the access that side as much as you would with the cabin filter underneath. wires will run right down the center to the stereo. thats where mine is going i have an xm tuner built for my pioneer that i am going to put back in soon as i get a replacement antenna.

There is lots of room on top of the glove box, right next to the radio.
