How does it sound?

Thank you.
I love the sounds of the MB Quart speakers. These were taken from our mk3 VR6 and transplanted into this car. There is a custom sub box that I showed in my introduction thread. Add it together and the sounds are crystal clear and powerful. The Ai-Net cable came in recently so that got installed today, too. Now I've got Philips Opus rocking the Bug. |

Did you reuse the stock speaker mount/adapter and bolt it all together? I think that is what I see there... I called a few install shops, nobody has the mounts in stock.
Fronts are 6.5s, rears 6x9s... any second thoughts about this? I was thinking of doing transplant soon, looks like I'll have to raid the hardware store. Does the vibration loosen anything? -Thanks in advance |

On the fronts, I didn't have to reuse the frame on mine. I had plenty of room, because my 6.5"s weren't that deep. I can't compare what ours sounded like before, but it sounds great now. (all 4 speakers were dead when we bought it) Loved riding around listening to the a pillar tweets. That rocked! lolx |
