2003 VW Turbo Beetle
Well I just got the wifes 03 VW Beetle Convertible out for the summer. The battery was dead so I replaced it, But I have another problem. Went to turn on the radio and it is dead. Checked the fuse and it is okay. Could something have went wrong because the battery dead or is the radio probably shot??

It's the stereos anti-theft working. When power is disconnected from the stereo, whether dead battery or theft, the radio dies. Hopefully, you have the owners manual, and the radio code is in there somewhere. Good luck!

If you can't find the safe code in the manual then you can get it from the dealership.
