We can source OEM in dash CD players, unfortunately they are not currently on sale. We would need a VIN to confirm which model would work for your application and to get pricing.

Will this work on a '99 GLS? Mine looks somewhat different and doesn't say Monsoon.

Unfortunately we need a VIN to confirm fitment on these, I suspect it will not work if you do not have an existing Monsoon radio but feel free to send over a PM with your VIN and I can have the parts guys confirm.

OEM vs Monsoon unit
Okay I can say for SURE that this Monsoon unit DOES work just fine in a non-Monsoon car. I just purchased one last week from ECS and after coding it works great! Major props to Ricky from Dirrito Bros. VW in Walnut Creek for putting the code in for me free of charge. The code was on the sticker taped to the unit housing. Don't believe all of the nay sayers out there on all of the VW forums.
