What is your budget? What features are you looking for?

You can pick up many basic CD player radios for under $100 easy.

For example: JVC KD-R210, $79.99

The Sony XPlod unit in my car I think was around $100 a few years ago. Its got the red and blue lighting that matches the interior lighting pretty well too!

HD radio is basically a "more clear" version of normal FM radio. Think of it like regular TV and HD TV. (better pictures/better sound, etc) As far as listening, when you are listening to the radio it sounds as clear as listening to something on a CD.

It is a nice feature, but it never really "took off". For me personally, I listen to everything on my ipod. I never actually listen to radio. But for $20 more, might as well.

Make sure you read all the reviews on the unit before you buy it. If there is something you are unsure about call that toll free number and get answers before you lay out the cash.

With all the new cell phone laws, you should spring for a stereo with built in blue tooth. They're getting really affordable.

It is an odd concept, but it is nice. I use to have a radio with a remote in one of my older cars. Then one day I couldn't find it and I couldn't figure out how to work the radio. I got so use to the remote.
