Default 2005 mp 3 connector question

This is my first time posting here and I apologize if this has been answered a million times. My 2005 Beetle GLS (with stock radio) lists an "mp3 connector" as a feature and I don't know what this means. I don't see any way to connect my iPod, does "connector" just mean that it plays CD's burned in MP3 format and/or I can have something installed to play my iPod? Thank you!

Look under the bottom right side of the A/C controls, you will find a plug that you can use to connect an MP3 player/Ipod with a cable. Push the CD button on the radio a couple of times until it dispays AUX on the screen.

Thanks so much! I just ran out to the car and there is a small metal edged "hole" under the heated seat controls (passenger side). Is this it??! Can I just get a cable at Best Buy or someplace like that? The only cable I currently have is USB.

Thats it! Its an Aux input jack. You just have to get the plug that runs from your MP3 player's headphone jack to that hole. It looks like a double-sided headphone jack when you see it.

Thank you so much! I feel sooo dumb. I had no idea it was sort of "hidden" under there. I'm off to buy a aux. cable. Thanks again one and all!
