sterio going crazy

Please help, my whole sound system system, the factory 5 disk cd changer with cass deck, turns off and off and on continuously by it self the whole time im driving occasionally it will play a few minutes then off seconds later back on, Pretty sure I checked the fuses, Please help, this is ny first time on here , at the same time myd light will dim while i drive at night then the light will go normal a few minutes later, plus the air system doesn't to any thing no hot no cold the only light that works is the button by the ac with thw arrows and all it does is light up no circulation i have a 2000 vapor ble new beetle 1.5 turbo. thanks
