Had the battery replaced on our 2000 Beetle. The radio of course went into SAFE mode, but never showed 1000.
After leaving the radio on and the key in for an hour, 1000 did show up on the display. I entered the code correctly (from the card) but upon pressing the > on the seek button, there was a short burst of sound but it went right back into SAFE. Repeated the process and the same thing happened. After waiting for an hour, I got the 1000 back but same thing happened again. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated!!!! |
