Need Monsoon user guide/manual

I recently upgraded my tape deck for a cd/mp3 player from an 08. I need a fellow orger with the same HU (AND A GOOD HEART) to scan and pdf me the radio booklet that came in the owners manual or if you replaced this HU in your car and have the booklet I'd buy it from you.

I actually put it up, way back, in a thread I started a long time ago, all about factory audio systems. Need to find time to go back and do some more work on the thread.

Hi there -- just wondering how you did with this?

I have a '03 convertible, with an original cassette/Monsoon head unit. I have a 6 disk changer in the trunk, but it's not working properly now.

I've looked on ebay and I can get a replacement HU from a newer model beetle, but I just want to be sure it will swap easily. I want to get the in-dash CD, but there seems to be at least two models of the monsoon (one with SAT and one with CDC). Here's my questions:

(1) I'm going to forget about using the cd changer in the trunk, so if I pick up either of the above Monsoon units, would I be able to put an adapter on either the SAT or CDC plug so that I can use iPhone4 for music? If so, what model is best?

(2) If I do this, would I be able to control iPhone4 from HU and would iPhone4 charge while connected?

(3) Would I be able to use phone through car speakers?

I'm a bit skeptical about all of this because at one time I tried to put a "Parrot" adapter on the HU, but there was a lot of hissing in the system... something to do with it being incompatible with the monsoon amp.

Step-by-step instructions/recommendations/pictures would be awesome!
