Need Radio Help!

I had an aftermarket radio installed in my car 9 months ago from my previous car. It worked fine until a few days ago I left my lights on and had someone jump start my car. I checked all the fuses for the radio and all of them are good but changed them anyways but no luck. I was wonder what would cause this and if anyone know how to take off the face plate from an vw radio kit.

I'm not sure if you mean you want to cover your radio with the face of an old stock radio or if you mean the trim pieces to make the aftermarket look nice
