Monsoon speakers?

I am parting an 03 with a Monsoon stereo. I am wondering if they are a better speaker than what my 98 has? I used the dash panels from the monsoon car that has the speakers in them and was going to tie them in with the a pilar tweters I have now.
Would it be worth it to swap out the other four?
I put the Monsoon head unit in mine already.

Did you also install the amplifier to go with the radio? The rear monsoon speakers are 2 ohm woofers and the door speakers are 2 ohm subwoofers, and you will need the amp to get the best sound from them.

No I just used the head unit and the original non Monsoon speakers. Are the speakers the same Monsoon and non? Does the amp plug and play into the non Monsoon?

This is a .pdf I put together that has info about the Delphi Monsoon system.

If I had to guess I would think a non monsoon car is wired differently, but you can check for plugs in the left rear quarter near the tail light and see, that is where the amp would be.

I believe all your original speakers are 4 ohm and the Monsoon radio is just a normal 4 channel output like your old radio, without the amp installed.

If you decide not to use the rear speakers, I would be willing to buy them from you as mine quit working a while back.
