Found a cd changer in a junkyard from a 2000 Beetle so I grabbed it and the bracket assembly. I assume all I have to do is install it (I have a 2001). My question is this ...
The doors are off the changer - not broken. I took the one that says ''6 cd'' off myself. The other door has some sort of metal clip attached.. It was on the floor behind the bracket. I can't seem to figgure out how that goes back on its track. Anyone? tks Bart ![]() Last edited by glassbuggy; 04-30-2011 at 02:07 AM.. |

The blank door goes under the CD6 Door and both retract into the housing, blank door first followed by the CD6 Door. I think the blank door is upside down in the picture and that the white portion should should line up with the white area in the changer when the door is slid shut covering the magazine.
