I got a bazooka tube sub-woofer that I want to put in my beetle. The problem is I don't think it's a bright idea if I connect the power from the 12v outlet in the trunk to the bazooka tube. Since the bazooka tube has 200watts... Unless someone has done this before and had no problems? But then again maybe wiring it from the battery is the best way to go.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to cleanly get the wire from the battery to the back of the beetle's trunk? ![]() thanks |

As a rule of thumb, you don't want to splice into an existing power line. You should run a new cable that is connected directly to your battery.
