Default Help disabling the radio speed/volume thingy.

does anyone know how to stop the stereo from turning down as I speed up? U know the automatic radio volume reduction as you speed up Thingy. I believe this is what I am experiencing/suffering from.

It should be in your factory manual.

It mentions the feature but says nothing about how to disable it.

Weird... my girlfriend's MINI has the exact opposite feature. It has a setting where you can adjust the amount the volume increases as you increase speed. It works really well. Set the stereo to a comfortable volume while stopped and it turns the volume up to compensate for road/wind noise as you accelerate to cruising speed. Then when you stop for a light the volume goes back down to the initial level.

Never noticed the NB reducing it's volume at speed. I turn it up at speed to compensate for road/wind noise but don't have to readjust repeatedly after a period of time.

tried both the things from both those links... no luck... and nothing in the chilton book gives me any info... i think, though it says it's just for tapes, it might be that dolby button, because it talks about the limiter...
