Default What to do with stock HU & amp?

Last weekend I replaced my stock radio and I will soon replace the monsoon amp. Are these worth trying to sell or are they just throw aways?

I did a quick search on eBay and saw a couple amps for sell but no HU. Just curious what others have done.

Even if they don't sell... don't throw them away. Stash them in your attic.
When it comes time to sell the NB, throw them back in and then either reuse or sell your after-market set-up (you'll get more for it than you would the OEM stuff).

If possiable, leave the stock amp in. If you do take it out, do not cut the wires as it will be a nightmare to rewire. I am going through that right now with a used GTi I am redoing the stereo in.

I will leave the stock wiring as is and run my own.

I seriously doubt I will ever sell my NB, it already seems destined to become a family heirloom

If it was the stock HU with CD/MP3 player, I'd buy it on the spot.
