Hey all!
I'm brand new to this site as well, but I am here to find something specific! My cute little 98' yellow beetle, "Daphne", is in need of a radio replacement. The buttons have been failing on me now for about 3 months, and it's driving me crazy... Especially, now that the cd button has gone out I can't even access the disc changer. BOO! Anyone know where I can find a new radio that's not so much brand new, but yet in full working condition? Thanks so much. Ms.Happy ![]() |

Have you checked ebay? Someone on the forum might even have an extra one. I have an extra radio cd player but it won't fit the bug.

You might even check www.1stvwparts.com and give them a call. The tiny plastic tabs that handle the radio buttons tend to break, which then renders the button useless. I called and found replacements for about $160. I was about ready to order, when I found a brand new one (still in plastic) on eBay for $95. It can be done, if you are resourceful. Otherwise, its replacing the unit with a Pioneer or Kenwood or ??? and selling/ditching the CD changer. Pick your poison
