Stock Sound Systems

Can some one tell me what sound systems come with the 06 convertibles.I have one on order with a package 2, no 6 disc changer. I have heard someware about a 10 speaker system. what opions do I have? How good are the vw systems?

They come with the monsoon system. If you got sat radio then there is no mp3 port from what I understand. I have no sat and there is an mp3 player port under the radio. I am not an audiophile by far and I think this is the best stock system I have ever had in a car. I have never had to turn it up all the way and I do like my tunes loud!! It will also play mp3 discs and lists the song titles and folder names if you burn the cd correctly....hope that helps

I was just cruzn' the forums and came across your post. I can't 100% say the '06 vert is the same but.....my '05 bi-color has a monsoon system with sat radio and an mp3 jack.

I just bought an i-pod and plugged it in and it is great. I feel spoiled to death...XM radio and mp3...

Anyhow, it is likely that the vert has the mp3...the monsoon system seems to come with it now....sat radio or not.
