My System
I got a 99 new beetle and have done this to it. I have a 06 Eclipse CD4000 deck with the ipod control box with the dock connector in the glove box. I have CDT EF-61CF components in the front with 6 1/2 mids and 1" tweets that i put in doors. I have a Audiobahn A8002T 200x2 running those. I removed the rear speakers. I have a 12" Alpine Type R in a 1.25 ported box with a Audiobahn A8000T 800 watt amp running that. I just recently used Second Skin deadener for the truck and that helped so much. Then I cut out a rear deck and I wraped that in suede. Also have a sirius radio tunner in the ride. Ran the antenna on the roof. Hope you like.
