A-pillar tweeter missing

I have an 02 Turbo S, and when the A pillar panel was removed on the drivers side, there was no tweeter, where supposedely, there should be a tweeter in that location. I haven't checked on the passenger side. Has anyone noticed this? I did see a tweeter and speaker combination on the dash...is this so with any of your NB's? Thanks.

You have a turbo S, therefore you have Monsoon. Bugs with Monsoon dont have tweeters in the A-pillar, they have tweeters and midranges in the dash. Take off the dash panel, you'll see 2 speakers.

Non monsoon bugs dont' have the grills on the dash, and have a tweeter in the a-pillar. Altho i think this changed somehwere in 04 to 06 (i dont remeber exactly)

Cool, that means i can put something in that space...hmmm...this gets me thinking again on mods...anyway, thanks for that info coz I thought I was cheated by vw.
