Anyone have a recipe for prairie Oysters?

I like them pan fried in butter and garlic.

I actually do have a recipe for this. I cook them exactly as i would oysters. I make a cornmeal and egg batter with some old bay seasoning and a little fresh garlic and than you just deep fry them. You can stuff them as well, if you're so inclined. You don't want to overcook them or they tend to get tough. A light frying is best. Maybe you could searve them on greens with a red pepper aoli?

They are actually quite tastey.

I grew fond for them when I helped out at branding/castrating season. Fresh balls cooked in a cast iron skillet over a campfire... YUM!

No I only get them at one of the local pubs annual Testicle festival.

/me hurls I guess i'm just a sissy, I never try new stuff. We went to Alberta on a trip and then on to Banff. They gave us the "The Taste of Canada" moose, smoked salmon to name a few. Carolyn tried everything, I ate chicken.
