Default What should I cook this weekend?

Well Folks!

My freezer is empty, and this is the first time in 3 weekends I dont have my son.

Over the next 2 days and 3 nights I must fill my freezer with frozen meals that I can take out and cook for supper.

I intend on making the following:

Batch of Lasagna: good for 2-3 meals
Batch of Homemade mac and Cheese: Good for 2-3 meals
Batch of Chili: Good for 4-5 meals

Pre-made Hamburger Patties (Mmm horseradish burgers)
Pre-made Meatballs

I am also out of bread so I will be baking 2-3 loaves of Whole Wheat bread...

I also have a sweet tooth, and ran out of frozen cake so a CAKE is in order..

Anyone out there have any reciepe suggestions for make ahead meals that freeze well?

Let me have em I'll cook em and give my reviews!

This weekend I will only eat sleep and COOK! (And wash my hands allong with other sanitary pleasures)

Stuffed shells might be good. I'm not sure how well they freeze since they don't last long here. I use the recipe from the box of jumbo shells from Prince. I actually don't use ricotta, I stuff them with the meat and some cheese & some sauce. They are only as good as your sauce so make a good batch and I always double it.

I like getting some turkey kielbasa (I can't eat the beef ones because of my gout) and Broccoli. Slice the Kielbasa into bite size chunks and brown (or slightly blackened) them in a skillet. I cook my broccoli seperately because I like them soft, not crispy, though you can do either. Add your favorite cheddar cheese sauce and simmer for 20 mintues.

Yummy!

What Brown or Blackened?

I don't think Brussel Sprouts would be good in my dish though.

That is why I cook them and put them in a a cheese sauce!

Or you could just not put any broccoli in there. Kielbasa and cheese is alright in my book!
