Here's where i would like to discuss baking.
I will begin.
This weekend i had my first foray into muffin making. What i do is begin with a recipe and i improve upon it. I had a bunch of dried cranberries courtesy of my roomates friend. So i brought out the trusty Better Homes and Gardens cookbook and looked up muffins. Bingo, cranberry recipe.
They came out quite flavorful, but a bit dry. Now, i did soak the dried fruit in a little rum (a splash). So yeah you definitely want a drink with these muffins.
My question, how can i make them moist and delicious like the ones from the stores?? More oil? Butter? Better release agent? Shorter cooking time?? Help please. I want to learn to bake.
