Default Fudge & Marshmallow-topped cocoa cookies

Prep time : 30 mins
start to finish 1h 15 mins give or take .
makes 3 dozen

1 pouch of betty crocker sugar cookie mix
butterabd egg called for on cookie pouch ( I just used my own sugar cookie recipe for this )
2 tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa( I used hot chocolate packet )
2 tablespoons sugar , for pressing out cookie dough
36 large marshmallows
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup milk
1 bag ( 6 oz ) semisweet chocolate chips
1-2 tablespoons water

1. Make cookie dough as directed on package adding the cocoa
2. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls about 2 in. apart on an ungreased cookie sheet, flatten each cookie to 1/4 ince with a greased bottom glass dipped in 2 tablespoons sugar.
3. Bake @ 375º for 7- 9 mins. Immediately top each cookie with 1 marshmallow. Return to oven bake 2 mins longer until marshmallow is soft. Lightly press each marshmallow to flatten. cool, place cookies on cooling racks. Cool Completely.
4. Heat in saucepan. 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup butter and milk over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture boils . Boil 1 mins. remove from heat. Cook for 5 mins. Stir in chocolate chips until melted. ( Frosting sets up quickly so thin as necessare with additional water )
5. swirl 1 tablespoon frosting on top of each cookie. Top with candy sprinkles . Let stand until frosting sets.

6. EAT ALL THE COOKIES

For this I used my own sugar cookie recipe instead of buying a premixed. I also used foil on a cookie sheet when in the oven . and for the chocolate topping I just melted down some chocolate chips and swirled it over the cookies and topped with sprinkles. they are just as good as if i would have followed the Whole recipe here .

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

Wow, they look delicious! I love marshmallow, maybe we can coat the whole thing with chocolate syrup or melt the marshmallow. Anyway, I will surely love to try your recipe and post a picture here too. Wedding Fortune Cookies

Its actually not that hard. Instead of making the chocolate sauce how the recipe calls for , I just melted down some chocolate chips and drizzled over the marshmellow.
