it's like a dream... .......the New Beetle Sunshine Tour, the biggest New Beetle meeting in Europe.

Ready, steady, go... on 19th July 2008 the 5th New Beetle Sunshine Tour starts its biggest open-air birthday event that has ever been organized for a car directly located at the ocean.

10 years New Beetle - HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!

We start in Luebeck, then we take some fresh air and 'roll' through the very nice countryside of Schleswig-Holstein. Finally we reach Groemitz but don't worry: before we have a break with raspberry cake and whipped cream...

With a fresh breeze in the trunk and a sideview at the ocean we drive through the seaside resorts Timmendorf, Scharbeutz and Haffkrug up to Groemitz.

Here we park our cars on a meadow near the promenade and all the clean and nicely decorated cars offer a colourful and spectacular view to everybody.

We meet friends, get to know people from all over Europe, talk about our Beetles, watch and are surprised, we celebrate aud laugh while listening to music and watching a nice programme among Beetles and beach baskets. And there is a big surprise, too.......

Don't be afraid of pirates or mermaids when we spend the evening at the beach. You can relax in tents, there are camp-fires burning in the breeze, a barbeque and music make you forget the daily routine. We celebrate our New Beetle and watch the sunset at the Baltic Sea.

Summer, sun, beach and New Beetles, the summer can't be more wonderful !!!

A very happy 'thank you' to Volkswagen and the village of Groemitz, they make our tour unforgettable.

And a very special 'hallo' from Luebeck to all Beetle fans. I'm looking forward to meeting you all !!!
