Default manu's projekt rsi, engine swap 2.0i for vr6

hi guys,

after reading threads about engine swaps i have changed idea on changing my 2.0i for a 1.8t, i have decided to fit a vr6 engine, i want fwd set-up with 6-speed box, can anyone recommend me a suitable model from VAG group where i can source engine and box from.
also need to know exactly what is needed and what work is involved, if someone can pass me suitable threads i would be very grateful.
my bug is a daily driver so i'm looking for around 240-270bhp, no more, i allready have another high bhp car that sucks gas, for evey kilometer i do it costs me nearly $2, that over here in spain is a lot of money, maybe in USA ok with cheaper gas prices.

i assume you've seen this thread:
2002 GLX Platinum Grey

i have a mk4 12v vr6 swap but i bought it that way. if nothing else i can take photos of specific pieces of how the shop did mine, if necessary, but it's no 24v r32 motor.

thanks for the reply dave, yes it would be great if you could send me photos.
just need to know which is best model vr6 to use for my late 1999 - early 2000 2.0i, as yours is a 1998 it doesn't have problems with immobiliser, thats why i want to know what i fully need and whats mods i have to do in chassis for engine mounts.
will a vr6 12v like yours be ok for mine, can i fit 6 speed-box, how much bhp has your vr6. r32 vr6 might be too much work & expensive, can i use it as fwd or do i need to fit awd system.

Yours is 2000. I'm not sure about the plugs that connect to the interior wires under the dash panel from battery are the same as my 2002. The plugs from my R32 motor are the same as my 2002 so I can just plug them in and I had to extend some wires to battery due to ECU position in beetle is under the dash but R32 is under the rain tray which is shorter then beetle's. I believe that you can get VR6 from any MK4 cars but make sure you get everything related to motor with you. Yes, you can fit the 6 speed shift box. It's just bolted on. Mine have to reprogram the cluster and the ignition key for immobilizer. The engine mounts have to be VR6 motor mounts. One more thing is the suspension. It has to support the VR6 too.
